Affiliate not Active

I tried to submit a rating report using a new affiliate I just got and set up yesterday and the validation report says it is not active. Is there and issue or just some kind of delay on when I can use the the new affiliate?

I think you probably have to activate your new affiliate first.

New affiliates are not activated until the office has had a chance to review their information to check, among other things, that the affiliate is in the right category. (Reminder, the USCF office will be closed on January 16th.)

That is why the affiliate page on the webstore has this:

Check here: In applying for or renewing a USCF affiliate, I accept full legal responsibility on behalf of my organization for abiding by the regulations of the USCF for the activities of affiliates. Failure to do so may result in revocation of this affiliation. I assume full legal responsibility for my organization's activities. Affiliation with the USCF does not make me or my organization an agent of the USCF for any purpose. The USCF reserves the right to reject this application and refund all dues after review of the information provided herein.

Affiliate information is subject to review by the USCF office before a new affiliate is activated or an existing affiliate's records are modified.

These days folks get upset when it takes more than a day to get results up so I really rushed through getting the new affiliate set up.

It did let me register the affiliate and grant my personal id the ability to get a membership for one of the players.
So it trusted me half way.
