Does anyone know of any places that make (custom) chess tables? There used to be Sundog Tables (Jeff Chapman) but I can’t find them online any more.

Have you looked on Etsy? I have bought a couple boards that are really nice for the price. A few woodworkers will do custom work for a reasonable price and work with you.
