How come has the US Junior been rated by FIDE but not by USCF!?!? I was actually impressed by the quick turnaround by FIDE officials. But doesn’t the event have to be processed by USCF first?

Walter Brown is the FIDE official you should be impressed with. He probably rushed it through since if he didn’t, it wouldn’t be rated until 1 September. With USCF rating tournaments every day, that’s not so much of an issue.

Yes, the rating list was my concern for USCF too, with the August cutoff tonight. Fortunately, Walter Brown took care of it.
I know both Walter Brown(e)'s and am impressed with both.
