I just found out the GalaxyFest Sci-Fi convention is offering gaming passes for anyone wanting to play in the chess simuls so people can show up just for the chess and support literacy.
If you can beat LM Brian Wall, NM Josh Bloomer, and myself, Petrie’s Family Games is promising special prizes.
