May God Bless the USCF...

for honoring my birthday by giving all USA citizens one year free membership in the USCF :smiling_imp:

You can send your check to finance the free memberships for all your friends here to the office!

As soon as we get it we will be happy to announce your program.

You may want to defer that announcement until the check clears.

IMHO, giving away free memberships is often a bad idea.

People tend to value what they earn or what they buy, not what they are given.

Parents generally experience this with their children.

Without a doubt. But we’ll take cash and marketable securities as well.

How about ketchup futures?

:::Just hired Clarence Beeks to get a copy of the tomato crop report:::::

Only if we can convert that into ready cash…

I agree.

Decades ago when my cousins were little kids. They were very poor, and people, usually in their church, would give them used toys on a very regular basis, so the house was a chaotic mess of toys often. Anyway, Christmas one year, we gave each of them a fairly expensive toy as a present.

A few month later in the spring, we decided to visit them. -They lived about 6 hours away. Anyway, we asked about the toys we gave them, and my aunt said they either threw them away or broke them like it was no big deal. It was a big deal to us though. I was in the army at the time but on vacation when we visited my aunt, uncle and cousins.

Needless to say, the fact they’d either broke or gave away the toys we gave them for Christmas was a major conversation on the way back to my mom’s house.

Ask Randall and Mortimer!
