New CSCC Champion Crowned! & FW: Results Oct 2010 East Coast

Greetings,

It finally happened. Thirteen years of frustration has ended, as I claim the CSCC Championship and title of best chess player in Colorado Springs (at least for a year)! My name will now be engraved along side of other past champions and chess greats as LM Randy Canney, LM Brian Wall, NM Josh Bloomer, and NM Buck Buchanan. I had to defeat 7 past champions (from 1992, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2003, and 2009) on my way to the crown. Amazingly, I went unbeaten during the entire tournament and only took 4 games to do it as well.

Here is Dean Brown’s report on the CSCC Championship:
