I would think it should have been in the tournament direction forum. There we could discuss best practices of getting results from the players.

Well, I assume the best practice would be to CALL the player and say “where’s the result, dummy?”. I got what I deserved when I was awakened at 12:31 am for this call. This is the only time I can recall that I ever neglected this duty (and I won the game too!), so give me a break.
BTW: Give the TD your cell phone number when you fill out the entry form, like I did.
EDIT: The “where’s the result dummy?” phrasing was mine, in case there was any doubt. The call I actually received was perfectly polite.

For Steve, the advantage of posting here (as opposed to sending a PM) was considerable – a wider audience, some of whom may have known the result.
For Moderator3, I don’t see what the advantage was.
