How about digging out all the info about the Olympia you can find and post it here. It would be greatly appreciated. Allen’s got a lot on his plate yet he’s keeping us informed. Thanks Allen. And thanks Alex in advance.
I am not interested in posting a report on this forum for a handful of people. I am not in Turkey. I am not telling Allen to do it. You don’t seem to understand. It’s the USCF web site that needs to improve. The USCF web site still has nothing about round 3. Can you understand that?
I agree. But the web site we currently have is good enough for posting a timely report about the US team results in round 3. It doesn’t need to be a thorough, in-depth analysis of all the games; that could come later after some type of express report is posted first. It’s been many hours since round 3 ended. Where is the priority for posting timely information about the US teams on the USCF’s official web site?
Other sites (Chessvibes, Chessbase, The Week in Chess, etc.) were somehow able to post timely reports, with pictures, analysis, and videos of round 3. Even about our own teams, which we are very interesed in and have spent oodles and oodles of money on, the USCF site is able to post nothing, nada, zilch.
In an earlier update, it was reported that the hotel where the American team is staying does not have a reliable internet connection. That may be contributing to delays in the updates.
Perhaps, but it doesn’t appear to have delayed the other chess sites. Meanwhile, round 4 has come and gone, with both of our teams going 2-2, as reported by Allen.
