Every day I receive an update in my inbox from the US Go Congress. There has been a dearth of info on the US Open from USCF, with only two articles at uschess online. Fortunately, the folks in the great Northwest have filled the void with their excellent blog at nwchess/blog/.
I would like to thank those responsible for informing those of us with inquiring minds.

As a delegate and workshop presenter/attendee for the last 25 years–or more–I loved this event. Concerts and events alone at the park across the street from the hotel made this one of the top 5 Opens ever.
