WinTD & a Ratings List

I need help using WinTD.

I ran a 10 player blitz tournament using WinTD and I’m trying to generate a ratings list. Each player starts out unrated. I created a Master Players file and copied the players from the blitz tournament to the Master file. Under “Section” I click on “Compute Approximate Ratings” and I get post-ratings for my tournament. Under “Master” I click on “Update from Tournament” and I get the same window as before, but no ratings appear in my Master file. What am I doing wrong?

I would recommend you watch Tim Just’s you tube videos on WinTD. Just look up the 80-20 TD and you should have no problems finding it. He has done an outstanding job teaching many of the tricks of the program.

I definitely second this recommendation. The web site is www.the80-20td.com. Lots of helpful information about WinTD, SwissSys, and the TD/A support pages.
