Hello, has anyone hosted/operated a simple swap meet for members of your club? The basic idea is it would be a place to sell or trade books, software and equipment.
We’re a small club (less than 30 members) in western NC with lots of experienced players (many retired), and I thought it might be something from which we would benefit and enjoy.

This sounds like an interesting idea for a club. I don’t think it would go over too well at large tournaments because the vendor generally pays a fee to have the concession. Heaven only knows what sort of stuff would come off of my dusty shelves…
Yes, it was just going to be a club activity, William. (not connected to a tournament)
I think many of our folks have had the reaction you did re: dusty shelves. lol We just have not brought the event to fruition yet.
