I’ve played a little chess (mostly computer) over the years and am interested in finding a club to participate in. I’m in western North Carolina. Does anyone have a suggestion?
I’m in Waynesville–about 30 minutes west of Asheville.

Their website is old, so I’m not sure if they are still meeting, but there is the Asheville Chess Club.
If not, you may want to contact the North Carolina Chess Association Board for any information they have.

Have you checked the USCF’s club directory, there’s an affiliate in Canton NC that held an event in Waynesville last month.
Actually I had seen them, Nolan. I’m planning to go to their regular meeting on Thursday if I can.
