Hopefully someone from CCA can respond to this.
In the tournament announcement for the Philadelphia Open, it stated that the U2200 section would be FIDE-rated. However, I don’t see that the U2200 section was ever reported to FIDE, though the Open section results were. Is the U2200 section actually supposed to be FIDE-rated?
By the way, I think the Loews Hotel is an outstanding venue for this tournament!
It may be faster to contact Bill Goichberg by email. I assume he was in St. Louis for the EB meeting this past weekend. That meeting didn’t end until some time Monday afternoon, according to Allen Priest, so he may still be in St. Louis or he may now be in transit.

This section was registered with FIDE, so it will apparently be rated. I also confirmed this with Bill Goichberg.
Thanks for the info. I didn’t see that FIDE page for registered tournaments, only the received reports. I guess it just takes a while.
